Role Overview

Join us as a hands-on Developer-Hacker architect, combining low-level vehicle systems analysis and cloud-based C# development. You'll design cloud features interacting with vehicle modules, analyze ECU firmware, and implement advanced checksum validations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Master communication protocols including UDS (ISO 14229), J1939, and OEM-specific stacks.
  • Diagnose CAN bus traffic issues with tools like Vehicle Spy, PCAN, or CANalyzer.
  • Collaborate on firmware development and secure bootloader projects.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in automotive software, focusing on aftermarket or performance tuning sectors.
  • Hands-on experience with Ford, GM, Stellantis, and Polaris diagnostic protocols.
  • Strong CAN bus, UDS, J1939, OBD-II standards knowledge, and hardware interface proficiency.
  • Expertise in ECU firmware formats, checksum calculations, and disassemblers like OlyDBG or Ida Pro.
  • US-based candidates for real-time timezone collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent reverse engineering experience.
