We're looking for a highly skilled engineer experienced in ECU binary data analysis, CAN protocol mastery, and cloud-based C# service development.

Your Role:

  • Lead binary reverse engineering of ECU/TCU/PCM firmware
  • Develop and troubleshoot communication stacks for UDS, J1939, and OEM-specific protocols
  • Analyze CAN logs using advanced sniffer tools
  • Collaborate with embedded developers on firmware and secure bootloaders

What You Bring:

  • 7+ years in automotive software engineering, especially aftermarket or performance tuning
  • Hands-on experience with OEM diagnostic protocols (Ford, GM, Stellantis, Polaris)
  • Expertise in CAN bus, UDS, J1939, OBD-II, and hardware interfaces (PCAN, Kvaser, Vehicle Spy)
  • Strong skills in ECU firmware formats and checksum calculations
  • Based in the US for real-time collaboration
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, or equivalent experience
