Automotive Maintenance Technician

Vital Medical Transport is seeking EMTs for our Chattanooga division, offering both full-time and part-time roles with a competitive compensation and benefits package. EMTs provide emergency and non-emergency medical care, respond to calls, and transport patients to facilities while ensuring continuous patient care during transit. Applicants must maintain calmness in high-pressure situations and adhere to the training for lifesaving procedures. A valid Tennessee EMT License is required. Compliance with background checks, motor vehicle report checks, and drug screening are necessary. Note: Marijuana is illegal in Tennessee, and a positive test will terminate employment.
Responsibilities include:
- Abiding by state policies
- Emergency response and patient assessment
- Medication administration
- Patient transport and reporting
- Ambulance driving and equipment maintenance
Requirements:
- Age 18+
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Current CPR certification
- Strong BLS skills
Preferred:
- PHTLS/ITLS certification
- National Registry Certifications
