Position Summary

The A-Tech assists in guiding junior technicians and acts as a skilled professional capable of inspecting, diagnosing, and carrying out automotive repairs and preventive maintenance services, ensuring that customers receive helpful, friendly, and timely service with a "We Can Do That" attitude.

Essential Job Functions

• Inspect, diagnose, and identify necessary repairs in additional automotive systems such as brakes, alignments, suspension, and cooling.
• Capable of diagnosing, repairing, and evaluating engines.
• Conduct oil and transmission fluid changes and filter replacements.
• Execute tire installations and maintenance procedures.
• Perform vehicle road tests to confirm quality service.
• Contribute to sales growth, enhance store profitability, and help manage expenses.
• Mentor junior technicians to foster their professional development.
• Uphold workplace cleanliness and safety standards.

Desired Qualifications

• ASE certifications or a technical school degree (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience with tire service (5 years preferred).
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Physically capable of continuous standing, bending, and other physical tasks.
