Position Overview
The Solar Repair Technician Lead position is responsible for leading a team in the repair and maintenance of roof and ground-mounted solar systems. Compliance with all company and safety policies and procedures is essential.
Essential Job Functions
- Loading and unloading of company vehicles.
- Maintaining adequate stock on a truck, ensuring all material required for the job is loaded before departure.
- Installation, repair, and maintenance of rooftop and ground-mount solar PV systems.
- Working in various residential and commercial areas.
- Leading, training, and motivating a crew of 1-3 technicians.
- Testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting system components.
- Maintaining clean job sites, work trucks, and warehouse.
- Comply with safety protocols and enforce policies.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and comfortable working conditions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Technical proficiency with PV equipment and hand/power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
