As an Automotive Maintenance Technician, you'll perform detailed inspections of injection molded parts for defects and deviations from customer and industry specifications. You'll be responsible for both start-up and in-process inspections, using advanced measuring equipment and software. This role involves overseeing the inspection process across various stages like machining and molding. You'll also collaborate with production staff and communicate closely with the Quality Manager, Project Engineers, Molders, and Lead Operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discard or reject non-conforming products.
- Analyze technical drawings and data to ensure quality standards.
- Operate precision inspection equipment.
- Develop inspection plans and conduct internal audits.
- Collaborate on continuous process improvement.
