EMTs are crucial in providing basic emergency and non-emergency care, responding to calls, performing medical services, and transporting patients safely to medical facilities.
Key responsibilities include: abiding by Tennessee Policies, assessing and treating patients, administering medications, safely driving an ambulance, and documenting care given.
Requirements: Must have valid Tennessee EMT License, be 18+ with a High School Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and current CPR Certification.
Preferred: PHTLS and ITLS certifications. Employment is contingent upon favorable background checks and drug tests.
Work involves exposure to various environments, requiring heavy lifting and adherence to safety protocols.
