ABOUT THE POSITION

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will support Civic's building infrastructure, including corporate buildings and branches. Working under the Facilities team, you'll diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain building systems like mechanical, plumbing, and electrical. Collaboratively, you'll ensure efficient building operations, identify maintenance improvements, and assist staff with facilities requests.

NORMAL DAY-TO-DAY WORK

• Support facilities management and maintenance practices
• Manage work requests in an automated database
• Respond to staff inquiries and enforce building standards
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance
• Coordinate vehicle fleet operations
• Embrace feedback and demonstrate continuous improvement

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 years in Facilities Management
• Basic building maintenance skills
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Occasional travel required

ATTRACTIVE QUALITIES

• Building project management familiarity
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Maintenance Reliability Professional certification preferred
