ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will support our building infrastructure, including corporate buildings and Credit Union branches. Collaborate with the facilities team to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance building systems such as mechanical, plumbing, and electrical. Contribute to smooth operations, identify improvements, and assist staff with their facilities requests.

NORMAL DAY-TO-DAY WORK

  • Support facilities management focusing on maintenance, security, safety, and environmental priorities.
  • Manage work requests, and assist with facility data collection and vendor maintenance.
  • Address staff inquiries, enforce standards, and suggest reliability upgrades.
  • Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • Contribute to daily operations and assist tenants as needed.
  • Participate in space planning for new staff and coordinate inspections for safety compliance.
  • Oversee vehicle fleet maintenance.
  • Accept feedback and demonstrate a commitment to improvement.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Skills:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 years in Facilities Management
  • Basic building maintenance skills: electrical, plumbing, and building system knowledge
  • On-call availability
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs
  • Willingness to occasionally travel

Preferred Qualities:

  • Knowledge of project management
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Certified in Maintenance Reliability or Energy Professional designation
