GENERAL SUMMARY: The Ophthalmic Technician performs various duties like preparing patients for the provider, maintaining instruments, and assisting during procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Providing ophthalmic care, conducting tests, maintaining records, and ensuring a safe environment. REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma required. Preferably with 1-year ophthalmology experience. Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) preferred. Core competencies include communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
