Pittsburgh Regional Transit is in search of an Automotive Mechanic to perform various inspections and repairs on both revenue and non-revenue equipment or vehicles. Your role will involve troubleshooting and repair of malfunctioning systems, welding and cutting metal parts, and conducting predetermined inspections, including Wheelchair, A/C, and Pennsylvania State Inspections. Essential Functions: You'll undertake scheduled inspections, replace and repair defects, execute preventive maintenance, perform fluid changes, diagnose complex system issues, and test vehicles. Job Requirements: A high school diploma or GED, automotive certification or relevant experience, specific licenses and certifications, and successful completion of job-specific training are mandatory.
