Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan repair processes.
• Communicate repair status effectively with others.
• Perform quality repairs while considering on-time delivery.
• Decide whether to repair or replace parts based on safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Remove necessary parts to gain access for repairs.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces with tools.
• Guide apprentices in performing tasks as necessary.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a frame machine.
• Certification in body repair is preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturer repair processes.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skilled in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Supervision abilities.
• Must pass a thorough background check.
