Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan repair process.
• Communicate with others on vehicle repair status.
• Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Make repair versus replace decisions considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, and trim to access vehicle fenders.
• Participate in all required safety meetings.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
• Direct and supervise apprentices as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of manufacturer-specific repair processes.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Ability to analyze and interpret measurement data.
• Supervision experience.
