Responsibilities

  • Examine damaged vehicles and plan repair processes efficiently.
  • Communicate progress with coworkers.
  • Perform quality repairs while adhering to schedules.
  • Decide on repair vs. replace based on safety and cost.
  • Remove necessary vehicle components for repairs.
  • Participate in safety meetings.
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces.
  • Direct apprentices when needed and explain procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience with frame machinery and body repair.
  • Manufacturer repair process knowledge.
  • I-CAR welding certification.
  • Ability to analyze data and supervise personnel.
  • Must pass a thorough background check.
