Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicles and plan repair processes efficiently.
• Communicate with team members regarding repair status.
• Perform quality repairs with a focus on timeliness.
• Evaluate decisions on repair vs. replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Remove necessary parts to gain access to repair areas.
• Participate in all required safety meetings.
• Utilize power and hand tools to perfect repairs.
• Mentor apprentices when complex issues arise.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Understanding of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Ability to interpret measuring data.
• Supervisory skills desirable.
• Background check clearance required.
