Responsibilities:
- Examine damaged vehicles and plan repair processes efficiently.
- Communicate with others on repair status.
- Perform quality repairs timely.
- Make decisions on repair vs. replacement considering safety and cost.
- Remove upholstery and accessories to access vehicle parts.
- Participate in safety meetings.
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces.
- Direct apprentices in tasks and explain procedures.
Qualifications:
- Certification in body repair preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturer repair processes.
- I-CAR welding certified.
- Skilled in interpreting measuring data.
- Able to supervise repair personnel.
- Passable background check.
