Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and visionary R&D Chemist to lead as our Director of R&D. With experience in automotive chemicals, this role is vital for quality control and the next generation of product development.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct and support R&D projects.
- Ensure quality control and support quality systems.
- Provide technical support to customers and distributors.
- Develop or modify formulations while ensuring quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, particularly in formulations and quality.
Preferred Skills:
- Analytical chemistry experience (GC, GC/MS, FTIR, AES).
- Experience with ASTM laboratory procedures.
- Proficient in PC skills, LIMS, and analytical software.
- Knowledge of automotive additives and chemical industry advantageous.
Industry: Automotive/Vehicles/Motor Fluids/Motor Vehicle Manufacturing.
