The Automotive Billing Clerk is tasked with processing invoices and verifying billing accuracy, ensuring that all financial transactions related to vehicle sales, service, and parts are correctly recorded. This role demands strong attention to detail and organizational skills, along with proficiency in accounting software to uphold accurate financial records within the dealership. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and process invoices for vehicle sales. - Verify the accuracy of billing information, including vehicle prices, discounts, taxes, and fees. - Ensure compliance with dealership policies and state regulations. - Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve issues. - Maintain and update customer records. - Collaborate with sales, finance, and service departments. - Generate financial reports and assist with month-end processes. - Handle financial transactions and assist in audits. - Engage in tag & title work as needed. Qualifications & Skills: - High school diploma; an associate's degree is a plus. - Experience in automotive billing preferred. - Proficiency in Tekion or similar software. - Strong numerical and communication skills.
