Job Summary

As a Day Habilitation Technician, you will assist and support the Program Coordinator during Dayhab Program hours, Monday to Friday from 7AM-4PM. Your role includes providing support services to clients, implementing and monitoring daily activities. Additionally, you will maintain records required by Buckeye Residential Solutions and other agencies like DODD, ODHS, and County Case Management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Respectfully interact with individuals and coworkers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Execute individual service plans.
  • Ensure all necessary forms are available during activities.
  • Collaborate with the Habilitation Coordinator on behavioral issues.
  • Supervise clients in all situations.

Medications

  • Administer medication correctly and document properly.
  • Notify the Coordinator when medications have 7 or fewer days remaining.

Working Conditions

  • The job involves sitting, standing, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.

Qualifications

  • No prior experience necessary.
  • 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CPR, CPI, MUI, First Aid, Medication Administration, and Documentation Training certifications.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Positive attitude and desire to help others.
