Job description

As a Lead Automotive Design Engineer, you'll design and support the manufacture of body products for e-mobility applications. You'll handle part modeling, drawing creation with GD&T, and assembly using CATIA V5 and Solidworks. Collaborate with Ford Industrial Designers to architect the prototype CAD, and manage product design development from concept through manufacturing. Lead successful product launches and ensure designs meet all quality, regulatory, and profitability requirements. Play a key role in integrating safety into product designs and lead teams in product improvements. Prior automotive industry experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and proficiency in CAE simulations are required.
