We seek a seasoned engineer proficient in vehicle binary data interpretation, CAN communication protocols, and cloud service development with C#. This senior role involves architecting cloud features interfacing with vehicle modules, binary firmware analysis, and checksum calculations.

What You'll Do:

  • Reverse engineer ECU firmware using manual hex analysis and checksum validation.
  • Master various vehicle communication protocols including UDS, J1939, and OEM-specific stacks.
  • Analyze CAN logs using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Collaborate on firmware-related challenges and secure bootloader development.

What We Expect:

  • 7+ years in automotive software engineering focusing on aftermarket and performance tuning.
  • Experience with diagnostic protocols from Ford, GM, Stellantis, Polaris.
  • Expertise in CAN bus, OBD-II standards, and hardware diagnostic interfaces.
  • Strong knowledge of firmware binary formats and disassembly tools.
  • U.S. based for real-time team collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s in CS, EE, or equivalent professional experience.
