Role Overview
As a senior-level Developer-Hacker, you will merge expertise in low-level vehicle systems and cloud-based software engineering. Responsibilities include binary reverse engineering, protocol troubleshooting for UDS, J1939, and OEM protocols, CAN log traffic analysis, and firmware collaboration.
Key Requirements
- 7+ years in automotive software engineering with aftermarket or tuning focus.
- Experience with Ford, GM, Stellantis, and Polaris proprietary protocols.
- Proficient in CAN bus, UDS, J1939, OBD-II, and hardware interfaces (PCAN, Kvaser).
- Expertise in ECU firmware formats and checksum calculations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Must reside in the U.S. for collaboration across time zones.
