What You'll Do:
- Reverse engineer ECU/TCU/PCM firmware and perform checksum/CRC calculations
- Master proprietary communication protocols and troubleshooting
- Analyze CAN traffic using industry tools
- Collaborate with embedded engineers on firmware and secure bootloaders
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in automotive software focused on aftermarket or performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with Ford, GM, Stellantis, Polaris diagnostic protocols
- Deep knowledge of CAN, UDS, J1939, OBD-II standards and hardware interfaces
- Proficient with ECU firmware formats and disassembler tools
- US-based with relevant educational or equivalent professional background
