Join Salvo Software as an Aftermarket Automotive Protocol & Binary Systems Architect
Salvo Software is pioneering automotive technology by creating cloud and diagnostic solutions for safer, smarter vehicles. We seek a skilled engineer with strong expertise in low-level ECU binary analysis and high-level cloud service development using C#. As a senior systems architect, you will innovate at the crossroads of vehicle reverse engineering and cloud computing, mastering protocols such as UDS, J1939, and OEM-specific standards. Collaborate in an engaging environment with a focus on aftermarket solutions and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Binary Reverse Engineering and checksum calculation
- Protocol analysis and implementation (UDS, J1939, etc.)
- CAN traffic diagnosis with tools like Vehicle Spy and CANalyzer
- Firmware collaboration and embedded systems support
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in automotive software engineering, aftermarket focus
- Experience with Ford, GM, Stellantis, Polaris diagnostic protocols
- Deep understanding of CAN, OBD-II, and firmware formats
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- US-based for timezone collaboration
