Role Overview

Seeking a hands-on Senior Engineer skilled in vehicle systems and cloud-based C# development. You'll architect systems, analyze ECU binaries, develop cloud features, and troubleshoot complex vehicle communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reverse-engineer ECU/TCU/PCM firmware and implement checksum validations.
  • Master communication protocols like UDS (ISO 14229), J1939, and OEM-specific stacks.
  • Analyze CAN logs using sniffer tools (Vehicle Spy, PCAN, CANalyzer).
  • Collaborate on firmware with embedded developers for secure bootloader solutions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in automotive software engineering focused on aftermarket/performance tuning.
  • Expertise with Ford, GM, Stellantis, Polaris diagnostic protocols.
  • Deep knowledge of CAN bus, UDS, J1939, OBD-II, and hardware interfaces.
  • Skilled in ECU firmware formats and disassembler tools.
  • US-based to ensure real-time collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
