We seek a seasoned engineer skilled in ECU binary analysis, CAN communication protocols, and cloud-based C# development. In this senior architect role, you will lead reverse engineering efforts, implement communication protocol stacks, and innovate cloud features impacting the aftermarket vehicle industry. Collaborate with firmware teams and leverage your expertise in proprietary OEM protocols. Must be US-based and hold a relevant degree or equivalent experience.

Key Highlights:

  • Reverse engineer ECU/TCU/PCM binaries and checksum calculations
  • Master UDS, J1939, CAN bus, and OEM-specific protocols
  • Analyze CAN traffic using Vehicle Spy, PCAN, CANalyzer
  • Collaborate on embedded firmware and secure bootloader development
  • 7+ years in automotive software, especially aftermarket/performance tuning
  • Expertise with Ford, GM, Stellantis, Polaris diagnostic protocols
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
