What You'll Do:

  • Analyze vehicle firmware binaries and implement custom checksum validations
  • Troubleshoot communication stacks for diverse vehicle platforms
  • Diagnose CAN bus traffic with advanced tools
  • Collaborate to improve embedded firmware security and functionality

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in automotive software, focusing on aftermarket or performance tuning
  • Hands-on experience with Ford, GM, Stellantis, Polaris diagnostic protocols
  • Deep understanding of CAN, UDS, J1939, and OBD-II
  • Proficient with tools like Vehicle Spy, PCAN, and disassemblers
  • US-based for effective collaboration
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
