Role Overview

Join us as a Senior Systems Architect combining low-level vehicle systems expertise with high-level cloud service development. You will reverse engineer ECU binaries, master communication protocols, analyze CAN traffic, and collaborate on firmware solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and expert reverse engineering on ECU/TCU/PCM firmware
  • Implement and troubleshoot communication protocols like UDS, J1939, and proprietary OEM protocols
  • Analyze CAN logs using industry-leading tools
  • Collaborate with embedded teams on firmware and secure bootloader challenges

Candidate Profile

  • 7+ years in automotive software engineering, focusing on aftermarket or performance tuning
  • Experience with Ford, GM, Stellantis, Polaris protocols
  • Proficiency in CAN bus, UDS, J1939, OBD-II diagnostics
  • Skilled in firmware formats and checksum calculations
  • Must reside in the United States
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related fields
