Role Overview

We seek a senior "Developer-Hacker" with expertise in low-level vehicle systems and cloud C# services development. You'll architect cloud modules interacting with vehicle ECUs, analyzing firmware binaries, and performing checksum validations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reverse engineer ECU firmware binaries and implement checksum algorithms.
  • Master communication protocols such as UDS, J1939, and OEM-specific standards.
  • Analyze CAN logs using advanced sniffer tools.
  • Collaborate on firmware development and secure bootloader troubleshooting.

Experience & Skills:

  • 7+ years in automotive software focused on aftermarket or performance tuning.
  • Strong experience with Ford, GM, Stellantis, Polaris diagnostic systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of CAN bus, diagnostic protocols, firmware formats, and disassembler tools.
  • US-based candidates only.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
