About the role
We are looking for an ART Accountant to join our team in Southfield, MI. New finish, proven expertise. Bolder ambition. The ART Accountant is responsible for performing general accounting functions for the Automotive Refinish Coatings companies in US and Canada. Key responsibilities include month-end general ledger closing, financial statement preparation, balance sheet analysis, bank reconciliation, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities
- Perform general accounting functions for the Automotive Refinish Coatings companies in US and Canada.
- Complete month-end general ledger closing, financial statement preparation, balance sheet analysis, bank reconciliation, and financial analysis.
Requirements
- University degree in accounting or related discipline.
- 2-4 years' working experience in Finance & Accounting.
- Experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
- Results-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and professional judgment.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
