Responsibilities
- Assist customers with their automotive and vehicle shopping needs
- Greet customers in the showroom and on the dealership lot
- Build relationships with customers through strong communication and follow-up
- Guide customers through the automotive sales process from start to finish
- Explain vehicle features, benefits, warranties, and financing options
- Conduct vehicle walkarounds and test drives
- Maintain prospecting and customer follow-up systems
- Complete sales paperwork and documentation accurately
- Stay current on automotive products, services, promotions, and industry trends
- Work closely with sales managers, finance, and service departments
- Deliver sold vehicles and ensure customer satisfaction after the sale
- Support dealership goals and maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced automotive environment
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred but not required
- High school diploma or GED required
- State sales license required or ability to obtain one
- Valid driver's license required
