We are looking for a highly skilled Automotive Accounting Controller to manage financial operations at our dealership(s). This role includes overseeing accounting teams, ensuring accurate financial reports, and supporting strategic decisions. What You'll Do
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements following GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies and internal controls.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Mentor and supervise accounting staff.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Analyze financial data for cost savings and revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years as an Automotive Controller or Assistant Controller.
- Expertise in multi-rooftop dealership accounting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience with dealership financial standards, cost accounting, inventory management.
