Automotive / Fleet Operations Business Intelligence Engineer (Contract – W2)
Location: Foster City, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Join a leading company in autonomous mobility as a Business Intelligence Engineer! Drive data-informed operational decisions by partnering with Fleet Operations teams to build data infrastructure, dashboards, and analytical frameworks. Use your expertise in SQL, Python, and BI tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Databricks to transform business questions into scalable data solutions and actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain data pipelines supporting forecasting, scheduling, and reporting
- Develop dashboards and self-serve reporting tools
- Analyze fleet performance data for trends, risks, and optimization
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, and Data Engineering
Requirements:
- 3–5 years in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related fields
- Strong SQL and Python (or similar) expertise
- Hands-on experience with data pipelines and dashboards
- Excellent communication to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have:
- Workforce planning, scheduling analytics, forecasting experience
- Exposure to machine learning or predictive analytics
