Join a leading Automotive OEM as a Senior Buyer managing the end-to-end procurement of complex automotive components and prototype parts. This strategic role bridges technical engineering needs with commercial procurement, requiring expertise in supplier relationships, contract negotiation, and quality standards. You'll drive cost management, utilize SAP expertise, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement with vehicle launch schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing for prototype and production-scale automotive parts
- Negotiate and manage complex supplier contracts within automotive industry standards
- Interpret CAD drawings and technical specs to evaluate suppliers
- Conduct supplier audits and cost-reduction initiatives
- Execute procurement processes using SAP
Qualifications:
- BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 15+ years’ experience in purchasing and contract management, preferably in automotive or heavy manufacturing
- Expertise in CAD interpretation, advanced MS Office, and SAP
