Senior Automotive Buyer Role
Take charge as a Senior Buyer for a leading Automotive OEM, managing the entire procurement lifecycle for complex automotive components and prototypes. Combine strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and technical expertise to ensure quality and innovation in every part. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams, using your advanced skills in SAP and supplier management to drive cost efficiencies and meet tight vehicle launch deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing and procurement of prototype and production automotive parts
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to industry standards
- Interpret CAD drawings to assess supplier capabilities
- Conduct supplier audits and cost management initiatives
- Use SAP for procurement data and order tracking
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- 15+ years in purchasing and contract management
- Expertise in automotive procurement with strong negotiation skills
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in CAD interpretation
- Expert in Microsoft Office and SAP
Core Competencies:
