Position Overview
The Automotive Detail Manager oversees vehicle reconditioning, cleaning, presentation, and inventory photography for new/used vehicle and service departments. You'll ensure every vehicle meets dealership quality standards and is delivered on time. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily workflow of detailing, reconditioning, and photography.
- Track all vehicles through I-Recon system ensuring timely processing.
- Enforce standardized detailing procedures and safety protocols.
- Perform and oversee vehicle photography, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Control material usage, minimize waste, and manage departmental budgets.
- Collaborate closely with management and service teams to deliver outstanding service.
Qualifications
- 3+ years automotive detailing or reconditioning experience.
- Supervisory or management experience (1+ year).
- Skilled in vehicle photography and online merchandising preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Valid driver license with good record.
- Knowledgeable in detailing chemicals, tools, and basic photography.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment.
