As the Automotive Detail Team Lead, you will be responsible for both hands-on detailing work and leading daily operations of the detailing team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of detailers to maintain high performance and morale.
• Set daily priorities and assign work to ensure efficiency and deadlines are met.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure all vehicles meet dealership standards.
• Train new hires and continuously develop team members’ skills.
• Partner with service, sales, and management teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Identify process improvements to increase speed, quality, and consistency.
• Wash, wax, and buff vehicles to a high standard.
• Clean interior and exterior windows, vacuum, and scrub interiors.
• Detail engine bays and apply protective treatments.
• Apply tire and trim dressing.
• Utilize professional-grade cleaning products and tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Prior automotive detailing experience required.
• Leadership or team lead experience preferred (or strong desire to grow into leadership).
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and lead by example.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Positive, accountable, and results-driven mindset.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
