Automotive Detailer and Car Washer

About the role

Enterprise Car Sales is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join the team as a full-time Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $16.00 / hour and based on a 40 hour workweek. The position is located at 9300 Coors NW Albuquerque, NM 87114-3526.

The Auto Detailer and Car Washer will uphold cleanliness standards by following cleaning practices that exceed standard protocols to support the health and safety of everyone. The role involves washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, to meet cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

The available schedule is:

• Sunday: OFF
• Monday: 10:00am - 8:00pm
• Tuesday: 10:00am - 8:00pm
• Wednesday: 10:00am - 8:00pm
• Thursday: 10:00am - 8:00pm
• Friday: 10:00am - 8:00pm
• Saturday: 10:00am - 8:00pm

Responsibilities

Hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors. This might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage; pull vehicles out of prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed. May transport customers to and from the branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations. Site appearance responsibilities include desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past three years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past five years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by the company for this position now or in the future.
• Must have at least twelve (12) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
