Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Cedar Rapids Airport

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Full Time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $17 / hour and is located at 2121 Arthur Collins Parkway SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

• Monday: OFF
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: 2pm-10pm
• Thursday: 2pm-10pm
• Friday: 2pm-10pm
• Saturday: 2pm-10pm
• Sunday: 2pm-10pm

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights
• Inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place items of value in Lost & Found
• Verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
• Check and add fluid levels as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage
• Pull vehicle out of the prep process as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches
• Maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interior and exterior of branch locations
• Site appearance duties include desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other cleanliness-related tasks
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in past 5 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
