Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Lexington, VA - Part Time

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Part-Time Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $17 / hour based on a 40 hour workweek and is located at 33 Quarry Lane, Lexington, VA 24450.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare various vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans.
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior.
• Check fuel level and warning lights.
• Inspect windshield for damage.
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found.
• Verify registration is present, current, and matches license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed.
• Check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns and report any warning lights or damage.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers.
• Assist customers when needed and may transport customers to and from branches.
• Maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations and other miscellaneous daily cleanliness tasks.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
• Driving record points cannot exceed a total of 8 points.
• No drug or alcohol related violations on driving record in the past 3 years (e.g., DUI, DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future for this position.
• At least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
