Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Ocean County

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as an Automotive Detailer. This position will be located at one of our locations within Ocean County.

About the role

The starting rate of pay is $17.50 / hour based on a 25 or 40 hour workweek. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance. We offer a robust Total Rewards Package including, but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure health and safety
• Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage
• Pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed
• May transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interior and exteriors of branch locations
• Site appearance duties include: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other related tasks

• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle is essential
• Must have a valid, unrestricted US driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English
• Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from location
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age

New Jersey DMV Requirements

• First-time drivers and under 21 years old must complete the mandatory Graduated Driver License (GDL) program requirements, which introduce driving privileges gradually to first-time drivers and individuals under the age of 21.
