Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Automotive Detailer. The position is located at 1713 Lehigh St Allentown, PA 18103.

About the role

The starting rate of pay is $15.50 / hour based on 40 hour workweek, with a pay increase to $16 / hour after 6 months of consecutive employment.

Schedule available:

• Sunday 8:30am-1pm (Rotating)
• Monday 7am-6pm
• Tuesday 7:30am-6pm
• Wednesday OFF
• Thursday 7:30am-3pm
• Friday 7:30am-6pm
• Saturday 8:30am-1pm (Rotating)

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current and matches license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns and report any warning lights or damages
• Pull vehicle out of prep processing if necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools like carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed, including transporting customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interiors and exteriors of branch locations
• Perform additional tasks related to daily cleanliness including desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 3 years
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English
