Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a part time Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $18.75 / hour based on a 25 hour workweek. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance. This position is located at 1839 South Rd. Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.

We are dedicated to upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry. As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone.

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

• Monday: 1:00pm-6:00pm
• Tuesday: 1:00pm-6:00pm
• Wednesday: 1:00pm-6:00pm
• Thursday: 1:00pm-6:00pm
• Friday: 1:00pm-6:00pm
• Saturday: OFF
• Sunday: OFF

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards
• Vacuum and prepare vehicle interior per Complete Clean Pledge standards
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior (cars, vans, trucks)
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place valuable items in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report warning lights or damage
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area; report unsafe/hazardous conditions
• Wear proper personal protection equipment (PPE); ensure supplies availability
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to/from branches
• Help maintain branch site appearance, including cleaning interior and exterior
• Perform miscellaneous tasks related to daily cleanliness of the branch location

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid, unrestricted US driver’s license (ability to operate a motor vehicle is essential)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English
• Must live within a reasonable commute (no more than 1 hour) from this location
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
