Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $18 / hour based on a 40 hour work week and is located at 6826 Wisconsin Avenue Bethesda, MD 20815.

We are dedicated to upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry. As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone.

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior—including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report warning lights and damage
• Pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches
• Maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
• Site appearance includes desks, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other cleanliness tasks
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Satisfactory background check inclusive of driving: no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in past 3 years; no DUI or DWI in last 3 years
• Under 25 minute commute (in rush hour traffic) from location preferred
• At least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship now or in the future
