Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $18.75 / hour based on a 40 hour workweek. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance. This position is located at 2077 E Main St. Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans.
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean and dry vehicle exteriors.
• Check fuel level and warning lights.
• Inspect windshield for damage.
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found.
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed.
• Check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle damage.
• Pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers.
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches.
• Maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations.
• Perform additional miscellaneous tasks related to daily tidiness.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle is essential; must have a valid, unrestricted US driver's license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from this location.
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.

Schedule

• Sunday: 8:30am-1:00pm
• Monday: 7:30am-6:00pm (1 hour break)
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: 7:30am-2:30pm (30-minute break)
• Thursday: 7:30am-6:00pm (1 hour break)
• Friday: 7:30am-6:00pm (1 hour break)
• Saturday: OFF
