Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Full-Time Automotive Detailer. The starting pay for this position is $15 / hour based on a 40 hour workweek and is located at 1718-A 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, AL 35055.

About the role

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior (cars, vans, trucks)
• Check fuel level and warning lights
• Inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify registration is present, current, and matches license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect for safety concerns; report warning lights and damages; pull vehicle out of processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers
• Maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors and exteriors, desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping lot
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in past 3 years
• No more than 1 excessive speeding violation (defined as 26+ mph over limit) in past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in past 5 years
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in future
• Living within reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from location
• At least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience

• Saturday: 8:45am - 12:15pm (Alternating)
