Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Full-Time Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $15.50 / hour based on a 40 hour workweek and is located at 6541 E Independence Blvd Charlotte, NC 28212.

We are dedicated to upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry. As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone.

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify registration is present, current and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of prep processing if necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed, may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
• Site appearance duties include cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other daily cleanliness tasks
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Schedules

• Option 1: Sunday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM; Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM; Days off Friday and Saturday
• Option 2: Tuesday - Friday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM; Saturday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM; Days off Sunday and Monday

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in past 5 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
