Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a part time Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $18.25 / hour based on a 25 hour workweek. This position is located at 2 Amity Rd. New Haven, CT 06515.

• Sunday: OFF
• Monday: 7:45am-6:15pm
• Tuesday: 1:00pm-6:15pm
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 1:00pm-6:15pm
• Friday: 7:45am-6:15pm
• Saturday: 8:30am-1:15pm

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior
• Check fuel level and warning lights
• Inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify registration is present, current and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns and report any warning lights or damage
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers
• Assist customers when needed, may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations
• Site appearance tasks include cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other related duties
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle is essential
• Must have a valid, unrestricted US driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English
• Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from this location
• Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience
