Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Automotive Detailer at LaGuardia Airport (LGA), NY 11369.

About the role

• Starting pay rate: $18.25 / hour based on a 40 hour workweek.
• Location: LaGuardia Airport, Queens, New York.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week. Open availability required aside from religious observations, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends based on a shift bid.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean and dry vehicle exteriors including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel levels and warning lights.
• Inspect windshield for damage.
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found.
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as necessary.
• Check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns and report warning lights or damage.
• Pull vehicle from prep process if necessary.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers and may transport customers to and from branches.
• Maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations.
• Maintain desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other daily cleanliness tasks.

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a valid, unrestricted US driver's license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from the location.
• Minimum six (6) consecutive months prior work or organizational experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
