Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking responsible, dedicated persons to join our team as a Full Time Automotive Detailer (Car Washer) at Salt Lake Airport (SLC). This position pays $18.50 / hour with a $2 / hr shift differential for working on Saturday, Sunday, and after 5:00pm on weekdays.

About the role

Must be available for a 40 hour workweek, including weekends and holidays. Multiple shifts offered.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans.
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exterior.
• Check fuel level and warning lights.
• Inspect windshield for damage.
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found.
• Verify registration presence, currency, and matching license plate.
• Check and add fluid levels as needed.
• Check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns and report warning lights or damage.
• Pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers.
• Assist customers and may transport them to/from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance including interior/exterior general cleaning.
• Perform miscellaneous duties including windshield rock chip repairs.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on record in past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in past 5 years.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or future.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• At least 18 years old.
• Available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday & Sunday).
